'The Town That Said No To Drugs'
One day while out hopping from tree to tree, Ted, a very young squirrel, stumbled upon a strange looking plant. Curiosity got the better of him and he ate a flower from the trouble weed plant. Soon he started feeling different and got scared. He ran home, seeking help from his family and friends. The next day, Ted organized a town meeting, explaining the importance of saying no to drugs. From that day forward, they formed a pact to never do drugs and to help one another—promising to always make good and healthy choices in life.
'What Makes Me So Special?'
One day, while out playing in the garden, Bobbi saw a beautiful butterfly flying by. He landed on a nearby flower and asked Bobbi if she knew what made her so special. Mr. Buttefly began by telling Bobbi all the beautiful things she did, but there was more. He told her she was special because she never did drugs. Bobbi knew they would take away her happiness and that special magic she had inside her, so she always said no to drugs. In today’s drug culture, it is so crucial for parents to educate their children about the dangers of drugs.
'Will We Always Be Friends?'
Will We Always Be Friends teaches young children about the dangers of drugs and how to walk away from those, including their friends, who ask them to do drugs. Leo and Wally met at school and instantly became good friends. But one day, Wally asked Leo to do drugs. Leo remembered what his parents said about the dangers of drugs and taking unknown things from strangers and even his friends. Leo had the courage to tell Wally, he did not want to do drugs. He also learned an important lesson that day, when friends start making bad decisions, we won’t always be friends. Educate before 8 about the dangers of drugs.
Kind Words from Parents and Children
“In parenting or child-rearing contexts, there is a catchy phrase “You can’t start them too young.” It implies that instilling positive habits or behaviors early on is crucial. It is an affirmation that there is no such thing as starting too early in acquiring knowledge and developing essential skills. It encourages proactive and timely actions to set a strong foundation for the future. Using simple, straightforward language and delightful illustrations, Elle Constantine supports these concepts by exposing to the very young the dangers of drug use, the skill to say “no”, and the positive feedback of “We are proud of you.” ---a powerful statement of support and confidence if ever there was one. This last personal touch expresses love, respect, and a deep emotional connection. It’s a way of letting a child know their actions have made a difference.
Faith in these affirmations is commendable and can be found in the early childhood books of Elle Constantine”

"Thanks to my mother’s wisdom and guidance, she taught me the dangers of drugs, at a young age, that helped me and my siblings navigate through high school and college without falling prey to the peer pressure of drugs. Her teachings have instilled in us the strength and clarity to make healthy choices in life. I honor her lessons and admire her passion to help other children say no to drugs. "
